Carbon Debuts at LDI 2025

Designing Live. No Safety Net.
At LDI, Carbon.show put real-time design to the test—working completely in the blind to prove what’s possible when ideas move at the speed of creativity.
Over two days on the show floor, we were handed a single sketch each morning and challenged to bring it to life in just six hours. No advance prep. Just raw ideas—built live by two designers working together in real time inside Carbon.show.
Day One began with a sketch from Ken Lawson of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music—a seasoned designer and educator whose experience shaped a confident, production-minded concept. From nothing but pencil and paper, two designers collaborated live to transform his vision into a fully realized, show-ready stage before the day was done.
Day Two shifted the lens to the next generation, with a sketch from Stella Kinoshita of All of It Now. New to the scene and already making her mark, Stella brought a fresh creative voice and visual language. Carbon.show adapted instantly—allowing two designers to build, iterate, and align in real time without slowing the process.
Two days. Two perspectives. Two designers.
Six hours per build. One platform.
From established pros to the next generation, Carbon.show proves that collaboration doesn’t have to compromise speed—or creativity.
You saw it built live.
You saw ideas become reality in real time.
Now it’s your turn.
